transgo accumulator mods

i have a '91 700r4 that i'm swapping into a different case due to damage to the case...i have all the internals changed, but what was changed on the accumulators...i know that the stock assembly had the 3-4 acc. piston in the case first, then the spring, then the plate. and the 1-2 accumulator was the same...piston in housing, then spring, then bolted on top of the plate(tranny upside down). but with the Transgo shift kit, the springs are changed and one of the holes in the 3-4 acc. is plugged....did the assembly change any? like spring first and piston upside down??
thanks.

the change is recommended by transgo. they didn't change the springs. just follow the transgo instructions and you should be happy. changing the springs/pistons around like transgo tells you sets it up like the 4l60e set-up and helps provide a firmer/quicker shift. especially the 3-4 shift.

the problem is that i don't have the instructions...the broken trans. had a transgo kit in it, and i'm taking everything out of it and putting it into a different case.

if it's like the 4l60E then the 1-2 acc. should have the spring in first, then the piston upside down....and no spring in the 3-4 acc. ...right?

with the hole in the 3/4 accumulator plugged, it doesn't matter if it has the spring or not really.

the 1-2 accumulator can be done either way really. i don't remember the transgo directions saying to change it to the 4l60e set-up. if the tranny had a harsh 1-2 shift before, i would put it back to stock with the piston in the housing first then the spring.
