LS1 T56 mated to a sbc?

LS1 T56 mated to a sbc?
So now that I have a job I would like to pick up a thirdgen and make my ls1 car a fun street car. I'm taking the t56 out of my firebird and hoping to put it in my thirdgen. how would this mate to a 400 small block? if so what do I need?

Axle/Gears: 12 Bolt
An LS1 T56 can mate to a Gen1 SBC.
