torn between 3.54 and 3.75
I don't know what to choose.
Car weighs about 3400lbs with me in it.
Tires are about 25"
Peak HP RPM should be about 6000.
Question is, n/a, will the car go in the 1/4 in terms of MPH.
Desktop dyno says my combination is 500hp at 6000rpm. (in sig)
My calculator says thats 400 rwhp with a 700R4, which is 11.8 @ 114mph.
With 3.54 gears, i'd cross the finish line @ 5400RPM in third.
With 3.75 gears, i'd cross the finish line @ 5800RPM in third.
The 3.54's would make the car 126mph capable in the 1/4, if I had more HP (nitrous?) The 3.75's will redline at 119mph @ 6000rpm.
Any thoughts?

you want to cross the 1320 mark in your 1:1 gear at or right below your peak power point, do you plan on doing many more mods?
if your going to be adding nitrous, i would do the 3.54s if your done, i would go with 3.75s

so what is this, a track only car? do you plan on driving it around town or are you building it just for the track? 700R4 has a pretty steep first gear to begin with. it doesnt seem like you will be making a lot of low end power though
