Search for more details, but you have to remove the stock tranny first.
Bolt on a B&M torque arm adapter to the new TH350 (make sure you get a long tailshaft version (9" IIRC). Reuse your stock tranny crossmember, and 700r4 driveshaft. Install it all, and hook your speedo cable to the new tranny. BUy an adjustable detent cable for downshifts....I dont use one, since i always downshift manually. Hardest part will be the dipstick. They dont seem to fit right, best bet is to save headachse and buy a Lokar flexible, it makes the job easy and looks awesome! Oh, and you will have to run a vaccuum line to the modulator (definately bends a metal line, dont use rubber for more than 4" on either end.)

The short shaft will work with a driveshaft from an 82 with a 200c tranny i think. Its a three speed tranny. The 700r4 shaft will be too short. You can buy an adapter kit, not the torque arm kit, that will extend your tranny tailshaft housing and output shaft to work with the 700r4 driveshaft and tailshaft (maintaining your tq arm mount). Search for techpak switchkit or go to this link:

If you do some searching online, you will find the distributers for this product and give them calls to get a cheaper price. If i recall i had one quote me $99 plus shipping. Although i went with a long tailshaft model and the B&M torque are kit.
