I purchased a new car over the weekend. One of the things that needs fixed is that the speedo does not work. The car was converted from Auto to T5(v8 car). My old car is a v6 that I converted from auto to t5. Is the VSS the same between the two? I just need to keep the plastic gear from the v8 one?

Also, I plan to put 3.23 rear gears in it. Anyway I can correct the plastic gears in the tranny to correct for this?
