one more tv cable issue: slack

even with it set all the way back or no matter how many times it clicks.. there is a bit of slack on the cable i can pull it out like an inch. Could this be causing my car to not shift into 3rd? or am i looking at a rebuild

justin you can do a simple set up. if you talking about the cable near the throttle body. push the tap in and slide it all the way back, go in the car with the car off and push the gas pedal all the way down. cable should click. this will give you a rough area that you should be around, going to a shop to check the pressures and have them fine tune it is what i did.

Hey Justin, check out 86T/A's post on this board titled 700r4+3.73+sonnax spring. There's spring kit you can buy that takes up the additional slack in the TV cable. I got mine for $9 shipped from patc raptor's ebay store.
