TC woes

Problem: Strange grinding/ticking noise coming from TC area, and the tranny won't build any pressure or move what so ever. This is a whole 1,200 miles after the ZZ4 swap and TCI sizzler converter install. I have the transgo shift kit in the 700R4 tranny, which was rebuilt by a decent tranny shop last year. There don't seem to be any shavings in the fluid, no cooked smell, and its been running nice and cool (average of 200F at operating temp). I wonder weather the TC took a dump or if the input shaft/pump drive in the tranny went out, any ideas or things to look for before ripping everything out again? Thanks,
