Re: Tran Problem

Which way did you put the fork into the throwout?

Reverse will always grind, if you don't put it into a forward gear first. It has no synchro. That part is normal, up to a point.

Re: Tran Problem

i cant remember really. when the car is off the gears go in so smoothly, when the car is on it is very difficult to place into any gear. when it is rolling it is fairly simple, but def not the way it should be.... when i place it to rev, it is extremely dif, and annoying sounds occur, so i turn off the car and start it into rev with no problem.... thank you for your help

Re: Tran Problem

The mis-assembly in the pic is the usual cause of that. That, and failure to replace the pilot bushing / bearing, which is conspicuous by its absence from your list of replaced parts.
