i wanted a t56 but cant afford it. do you think this will last behind my zz1 motor (~350hp/400tq) and i might do a few upgrades in the future, nothing major though. i dont plan on clutch dumping or anything like that either. 95% of the time I am really easy on the car. I just really want a stick but dont wanna pay an arm and a leg.

Judging by the way you worded your initial post, it sounds like you already know how you'll have to drive it with a T5. Also read the post titled "Borg Warner Crap" a little ways down the page. Anesthes summed it up about right in that post. Kevin91Z also said his held up fine until he reached high 12's in the quarter mile. The only real advantage to the T56 is that you can pretty much beat the snot out of them without worrying. They're just extra insurance in those situations. Driven properly, the WC T5's hold up to some fairly stout SBC's. I'm going to attempt running one behind a ZZ4 cammed TPI 350 in my car. If it doesn't hold up in mine, I've also got a Tremec TKO I can throw in, but I'm going to try the WC T5 first.
