Does anyone have the GM part numbers for the TCC solenoid & Pressure switches handy?
I'm sure this has been beat to death and I haven't found any luck with a search.
But I have a 1991 TPI Set-Up and Computer going on my 1982 Corvette. Since there are dozens of way to do this does anyone have a matching part numbers for a solenoid and two pressure switches to control 3rd and 4th gear lockup for my 700r4?
I have about four different diagrams a several different ways to wire this, it's mind boggling........I just want something that will match and get the job done right. I've already tried to guess at it with no luck.
The old stuff had been removed and replaced with a vacum controlled lock-up, I'm trying to put it back to where the new computer can take over the lock up chores again.
I just need the GM part numbers for the solenoid w/ harness, 3rd gear pressure switch, and 4th gear pressure switch. A diagram wouldn't hurt either
Thanks again for any and all help
Dennis

Just have the people at the parts counter look it all up for whatever application your TPI originally came out of.

I can take a picture of the solenoid and pressure switches I do have, maybe someone can look at the harness and help me figure something out. The color wires don't match the colors in the diagrams I have.
I may end up making a trip to the dealer on my lunch one day and try again. They don't like to look stuff up for me...they want me to have a part number before I get there.....plus they sell everything at list price and if I had part numbers I could get it from GM parts direct a lot cheaper.

GM # 8654129
Thats the solenoid that GM shows for a 700r transmission with the 5.7 liter engine. Stock for 88-92 Camaro's and Firebirds
Any ideas on a diagram and part numbers for the 3rd and 4th pressure switches
The one I have is for 5.0 TBI, maybe it's the same??

A solenoid is a solenoid. As long as it's got 2 wires it'll probably work.
The wiring and part numbers for the switches will depend on the original application for your ECM.

Here's the solenoid I got from the dealership, it's stock for a 90 camaro 305 TBI, It's totally different than the number specified for my TPI application. I was originally going to use a TBI set-up and ended up getting rid of it, I kept the solenoid.

It looks like it's designed for one pressure switch and a temp switch

Here's what the dealership gave me for the above TBI application....the yellow one was supposed to be a two prong according to the diagram

And here's the diagram I showed the dealership

Here's the two pressure switches originally in my transmission when it had a one-wire self grounding solenoid. They both have two terminals and one has a green dot on the face.

I guess I'll order the 8654129 solenoid and start from there. If anyone happens to have the part numbers for a N.C. two prong pressure switch and a N.C. single prong pressure switch it would be great.
I have the black single prong in the picture below, I'm not sure But I think the two prong is supposed to be yellow??
