I'm helping a buddy with his and his clutch isn't disengaging completly. We already pulled off the transmission and changed the throwout bearing and all the fingers on the pressure plate and everything else in there looked fine, We're starting to suspect the slave cylinder isn't extending the rod that comes out of it all the way. His sits 1 and 3/4 inches toward the rear of the car from the plate the slave cylinder is bolted to, and extends only a 1/2 inch. So heres the help part, can somone tell me how far out the rod comes out against the clutch fork. thanks.
