hii have a 89 iroc with a borgwarner rear with a 9bolts "28 spline axel " and i whant to know if i can put a 10bolts torsen posi unit from a 98-2002 t/a or camaro to replace my carrier then i can put a 3.73 gear on it thanks all good day

A 10 Bolt carrier (7.6") from a 1990-2002 axle will not fit in a 9 bolt Borg Warner axle. The BW would need to be swap out with a 1990-1992 28 spline GM 10 bolt.

The only thing similar between a 10 bolt and a 9 bolt is the mounting hardware how they attach to the car. You might as well be trying to install a 28 spline carrier from a Ford 9". It just won't fit.
