Temp gauge

Is a trans temp gauge really necessary when running the stock cooler and an auxiliary cooler? Is it more or less a peace of mind thing?

Re: Temp gauge

Well if your still going with that higher stall converter thats more heat for the tranny. I myself have one and like to keep a eye on how hot the tranny is getting.

So, peace of mind. Thanks 84.
I have an open spot in my A-pillar for a gauge. I guess I know what's going there now.
