well its been a long process with this build do to weather and work but i finly got my th350 put in and bolter up but int he process i ended up snaping the shifter cable when i hooked up the cable to the trany and testing to make sure everything would shift well when i got into the car and turned the key to test the shifting it wouldnt go into reverse well i added a little pressure and snapped it any idea of why is wouldny of shifted correctly

 

well i though it was done to find out i put my new flexplate on backwords the starter i did have didnt fit and im hoping that this starter i have will fir the 168 tooth flex plate that came out of a 89 pickup with a 305 will work and sajestions on a good stock starter i can get from orylies or advanced
