AN fitting for clutch slave cylinder?
AN fitting for clutch slave cylinder?
Ive got a kind of unique problem. I put the engine/tranny out of a 84 trans-am into my brothers 87 S10. Tranny is a manual t5.
Does anyone make a AN fitting that replaces the strange roll pin/oring that goes goes into the slave cylinder?
I need to run -3 AN steel braided hose from the s10 master cylinder to the slave cylinder. Currently i have the hose connected to the master cylinder with a compression fitting. At the slave cylinder I drilled and tapped it and used fittings to connect the -3 steel braided hose.
Im having problems with the clutch not fully disengaging and Im about to replace the s10 master cylinder so i was thinking I should replace the slave cylinder while i'm at it with a metal one.
I swear I read on here that someone makes a fitting that connects to AN line so i dont have to drill and tap the new slave cylinder.
Thanks in advance

Re: AN fitting for clutch slave cylinder?
Fortes Parts makes the fitting with a -4 an thread fitting. I just ordered one from him, still waiting on it to come. Call him up and ask him about the stainless fittings for 84-92 camaro slave and master. He'll get you what you need.
