9 bolt strength
9 bolt strength
Hey yalls! I have a BW 9 bolt in my 85 T/A and I was wondering about how much she can hold. I've got a 406 SBC bolted to a 700r4 with a high stall convertor. I have heard it can take 11s is that true? Im looking to make 500 ft/lbs.

Re: 9 bolt strength
i broke the spider gears in my unknown mileage 3 series carrier with a 1.7x 60 foot. many 1.8 60's on slicks and small stall on stock L98.
however... this is not the norm... decent condition they should hold. i have heard that the owner of 9bolt.com has had a big block infront of his 9 bolt and that thing was puttin down the power
