Re: clutch master/slave cylinders
I am wondering if i can use a 4th gen slave instead of a 3rd gen slave.
Simply because i have a brand new 4th gen slave. Just dont wanna put it on if it's not gonna work.

Re: clutch master/slave cylinders
the lt1 setup will work in a 3rd gen, and it has a nice braided stainless line on it in place of the rubber one. the lind is a bit longer, and the geometry of the pedals is a little different so with the 4th gen setup, the clutch pedal will engage rather high. It would just find for me honestly. I think if you use 4th gen pedals too, thats not an issue anymore.
i dont know if just the slave will change over, I have a feeling it does, but im not 100%

They look pretty much the same, just don't know if the shaft length or something is different. I need to replace my 3rd gen one, but have lots more to do before i get to that. Just thought since i have it in a box, and it would work i would use it. If not, I'll take it back to the store.
