From: mesa AZ stapley & 60
Car: 92 RS, 87 IROC, 89 GTA
Engine: LO3, LB9, L98
Transmission: 700R4 X3
Axle/Gears: 2.70, 3.30, 3.27
Will it fit?
i have the 305 motor in my 1992 Camaro. It has the 700R4 Transmission in it. I want a manual, so my question is as follows. I have an opportunity to get a 5 speed out of the 3.4L V6 camaro from 1995, will that transmission fit in my car? Does the TBI `TPI matter? i have both motors.

from what I believe it has to be from a v8 5 speed because of the bellhousing on the tranny would be different to attach to the v6 verses v8
