i got a 327 enigine and i was told to put in a 2 speed auto trans i have laying around in it what u think good idea or bad idea???

 

It would be a terrible idea.

 

if your racing an 1/8th mile and have a 5.13 gear then it would be good. if you run the 1/4 and street then you will hate it. or if you have 600hp it would be ok on the street. my first gear is useless on the street. i'm putting a glide in mine as soon as i get a 5.13 gear.

 

how about a 700r4 trans with the 327 engine how would that run??
