Help ID rear end.
Help ID rear end.
Stamping on axle tube is ME 073002. casting on side of third member is 1249518B This rear end has rear discs that look to be original to the assy.
I need brake parts but don't know what I have! I do know that it's an 8.5 10 bolt but that's it.
This rear end came in the '69 Camaro that I bought last year.
Help please, Thanks, Buck

Re: Help ID rear end.
Thanks for the response. If I google the casting number I get a response in another forum that kinda links the rear end to a '79 Z/28 but that's all I have been able to find out. It seems that the later GM cars are not documented as well as the 1st gens. at this time.
Thanks, Buck
