new driveshaft installation.

Got a question..I bought an aluminum driveshaft, and want to install it this weekend.

I know that when people remove their driveshafts its good to mark it so that you install it back the same way to reduce the chances of vibration.

If this is true how would I install the new drivehsaft?. Is it as simple as removing teh old and installing the new??. Or is there a certain way it needs to go on??.
Thanks

Re: new driveshaft installation.

Pull the old one out, bolt the new one in, provided your new one came with u-joints. Don't worry about orientation.

Re: new driveshaft installation.

Oh wow!!....im not sure if the exisiting driveline was ready to go out, or if it needed new u-joints. But the 3" aluminum driveline made the biggest improvment on my car yet. Best 100 bucks ive spent on my car to date. It smoothed everything out. Especially when cruising 70 on the freeway. It also seemed to have taken some load off the engine. Feels great. Definite recommendation!
