Weird Problem
Hey, thanks in advance for reading this and any input you guys might have. Recently I got my engine and trans 305 and 700r4 put back into the car, while the trans was out I put a B&M shift kit in it and a new filter. Now I am not sure what exactly it is suppose to feel like when you put a shift kit in but im pretty sure something is wrong, the engine seems to run at way higher RPMs than what it should be for the car to go.... don't know if that really made sense, the car Sounds like its going fast when it is actually going slow. Then sometimes after I drive it for a while and it gets warmed up it will seem to get worse the RPMs will go even higher to get back up to what speed you were at, then sometimes the SES light will come on and shortly after that it will stall, I tryed to pull codes from the car but when the car shuts off the code goes away
. I adjusted the TV cable also, pushed in the button then pushed it back into its housing then put the gas to the floor so it would re-adjust.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, any suggestions you guys make or anything I need to try I will do it just tell me what to do.

well usually it kinda free-revs and you jsut don't go anywhere. or you are moving, but not as fast as you should. does it get worse if you give it more gas?

Re: Weird Problem
just had a friend come over and look at it today, turns out im completely wrong on what i thought it was, he took it for a spin and said the tranny is fine, but once the engine warms up one of the cylinders isn't firing, he thinks its an electrical short, gonna do some searching on the forums and see if i can find anyone else that had the same problem, thanks for the help.
