Rear seal on tranny replacement

My transmission is leaking bad from the tailshaft seal. I am going to replace it myself. The tranny is in my 89 2.8. It's an automatic 4 speed. How do I replace it. I think that it is just pulling the DS and pulling the seal right after I drain the tranny.

Re: Rear seal on tranny replacement

You are correct. Support car, pull driveshaft, carefully pry out seal and tap the new one in.
