how do you work this thing????

hey guys, i have a question. this is my first car with overdrive and dont know how this works. cus it has two switches and im not sure how theyre suposed to be set or anything. please help me figure this out please. thank you in advance.

Someone put those switches there. THEY ARE NOT FACTORY. So there is no way we can tell you what they go too. Your gonna have to trace the wires and see where they go. Sorry

it was like that when i bought it, and dont have a clue what theyre for. so the switches and the lights don't have to do nothing with the overdrive?

most likely not, like everyone said they are not stock. you will have to find out where they go and then that will tell you what they are for.

I will take a shot in the dark and say that MAYBE one of them is wired up to control the torque converter lockup...

Just pop the cover off the console and start chasing wires, its the only way to find out!

how about the lights, are they soposed to be there or not?

No. And the switches don't match so I'm thinking they were either hacked or done at different times.
