milling back of wheel
i want to put a 4th gen rearend in my formula but i want to keep my stock wheels and i don't really want them to stick out so much, so i was just thinking about taking them and milling down the center of the wheel. i don't know a whole lot about backspace and everything and i haven't looked at the back of my wheels to see how do-able this is but what do you guys think?

Re: milling back of wheel
Just a thought, but I can't see GM putting extra unnecessary material on a wheel since it is unsprung weight. Are you sure there is enough material to actually safely machine off ?

Re: milling back of wheel
you'd have to take a look but i doubt there is enough material to make a big difference in moving the wheel in. every little bit helps tho but i dont think its worth compromising the strength of the wheel center
