im puting a th400 i my 87 camaro i baught a new yoke for it i went to autozone and baught u-joints for it i got a u-joint # 2-1569bf at autozone that is a conversion ujoint but it dosent fit my yoke the part that is supposed to go on the yoke is to small the other side fits fine on the driveshaft. does anybody know what i can do or a part # that will work thanks the yoke is an outside clip.

 

you could do what i did and cut the end off a driveshaft that fits the th400 yoke u-joint and take it to a driveshaft shop and have it weilded on and balanced. since your gonna need a different (shorter) driveshaft anyway its worth it.

 

Get the u-joint for a 82 305 carb car. I dont remember if a drive shaft from a 82 -83 will work as stated above "Shorter"
