i installed a hurst quarterstick shifter in my camaro which has a 700r4. im having a hard time getting the shifter to shift the trans in all the gears. the trans is fine. i can shift the trans into all the gears with out the shifter attached. its almost as if the shifter itself does have enough throw to it. i also cant get the neutral safety switch to work on it. if i put the shifter into park it will go into all the gears except for first, but if i put the shifter into the position for 1st and push alittle on the leaver on the trans it will go into gear. or i can get it to go the other way around(have it go into 1st but then it wont go into park). ive tryed adjusting it as much as possible and i dont seem to get anywhere. has anyone else had this problem. is there maybe another adjustment that im not seeing. any help would be great. thanks alot
