tranny help
The other day I had to fix a leak on my transmission, the tv cable on the tranny side was leaking so I got the new o-ring and put it on. I had to take the pan off and take the metal rod that goes from the cable to a spring, put the o-ring on and reassembled it reset the tv cable and now when it shifts from 1 to 2 i can't feel the shift and it slips. 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 is not that bad. Also when i get on it it goes to redline and insted of shifting to the next gear it slips down a 1000 rpm and then shifts. I have no clue whats going on.

Re: tranny help
Sounds like it's re-adjustment time for the TV cable.
I use the "guitar string tight at WOT" method but your Chilton's total car care manual can tell you the factory setting.
Search this site and you'll find plenty of ways as well.
