Leaking Borg Warner filler plug

The differential filler plug is leaking pretty bad on the Borg Warner tranny on my GTA. The whole pumpkin is wet on the back and I get the odd drip on my garage floor.

I pushed my finger on the plug, and if you look in the picture below, you can see it made differential fluid leak out like crazy..

Is there a standard recommended way to seal the plug up.. Some sort of special RTV perhaps? I have the Helm's factory service manual and can't find anything on it....

Do I need a new plug? (Can you even get them?)

Remove the cover and hand tap it for a tapered pipe plug. now you have a removal filler plug.
