so im wantin a stick in my 91 z28 but its kinda hard to find a v8 camaro with a stick in a junkyard around here so i was wondering if a truck transmission is the same? maybe one from a 4.3 s10 or a v8 2wd silverado and will the cluth/brake pedal setup work from a v6 third gen camaro? along with the mastercylinder? work in any third gen camaro idk im kinda worried about the hp and torque the truck trans can handel

No torque arm mount, for starters; not rotated so that it will clear the floor pan; and a few other details.

 

The most common and popular swap is T-56 from an LT1 F-body 93-97. The 5-speeds are not known for being able to handle much power.
