Auto start
I'm not sure if this goes here, but I will see. I have an automatic transmission, and couple of months ago I had auto start and alarm put in. I have been told that it will not work with a manual transmission. I want to put a t-56 in, but I don't want to $600 alarm and auto start to be not useful. Is there a way to by pass a clutch so that I can keep my auto start? Or should I give up on the idea of my baby being a manual?
Re: Auto start
I am sure there are ways you could rig it up to work . But I am very sure I would not want that. The problem is what if you forget and leave the car in gear and it trys to start , Your car could hit you another car etc. And seriously injure your self or others . Very dangerous.

Re: Auto start
You could leave it in neutral with the E-brake on and not install the clutch interlock switch when you do the swap... The remote start would work then.
Of course, you'd always have to remember to leave it in neutral and always set the E-brake.
