Ok, someone Please answer this..
How do I manualy(by toggle switch) lock the torq- converter...my ecm isn't locking up in fourth gear,(engine/tranny/ecm swap from fire bird with electronic spedo to a camaro with a mechanical spedo, now the comp is'nt getting the speed signal to lock-up) I've been advised against the vaccume type lock-up kits for the 700r's, and I want to drive this car, so what is the quick drive it now fix, I know the ecm sends a grounding signal on the tan and black wire, and the red wire is ran thru the brake switch(to disengage I assume) but when i drive the car there is voltage on the tan/black wire, and I don't want to toggle it to ground if I am unsure, please help!!!! I know this is simple and many of you all have done this, please explain it just one more time....help a brotha get a trhid gen back on the road.
