so i just got back from the tranny shop, pickin up the 'ol fireturd getting a raptor rebuild kit put in it. well coming off of the interstate i have to give it a lil gas to keep from being hit (didnt floor it) and it doesnt come out of first gear. I was doing about 35-40 mph..... well finally when i get to a turn i need to make i press on the gas pedal and it just revvs to 5k. im like WTF!!!!! i put the shfiter into 1st gear and it shifts fine.....any idea whats going on with this thing guys?

 

a no brainer , take it back to the tranny shop . its their problem , not your's .
make sure to take squad with you in B.D.U.s i am sure they will make it right . SEMPER FI .

 

lol true true...btw where u stationed at marine? ummm if they messed this up im not sure if i want them to "try and fix it"

 

Sounds like trash in the valve body.

 

now it wants to shift at 3500 rpms when im just cruising....it was shifting fine before....
