Hi guys, I am using a B&M megashifter (ratchet) w/ a 700R4. The shifter can be set up for 3 or 4 spd. The instructions were obviously written for the 3 speed, but then they went back and added a few particulars for the 4 spd.

Although the instructions say use the front hole in the lever that mounts to the trans, I need to know from you guys that this is definitely the correct hole to use for a 700R4.

I lost the instructions. I found them online, but I clearly remember that along w/ the instructions in the box, there was a loose additional sheet that described additional info for what hole in the shift lever to use with what trans.

Yeah I already have that sheet. There was definitely another supplementary sheet that had more info on what the holes in the shift lever were for, but I can't find it anymore.

 

Use the front one.

 

i vote for the front i have not had shift problems with it... yet

 

It is the farthest hole towards the front. End of story.
