Hello, I got a new 84 camaro Z28 with a 350, for 1800$ its hard to put in gears and is gonna need a clutch, wanted to know is it hard to do by your self or is it better to take it to a shop? how much you think i will end up spending, I know its a hydrolic Clutch, about all i know. Any info is helpful. thanks

Not too hard to do it by yourself.
I'd suggest a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch; I've had several of them, best clutch I've ever had. And I've had Ram, B-W, Hays, Zoom, and a few others too (all of which were good), the CF DF is just better.

Make sure you replace the pilot bushing/bearing in the crank while you're there; a bad one will destroy a transmission quickly.
