after much investigation tryin to find out why my new trans was kicking out of overdrive at wot ,i found its because the stock tv sleeve assembly will not allow wot in overdrive ,but the trans i just replaced always went into overdrive at wot and i was wondering if i could swap the tv assembly out of my old trans and put it in the new trans? or do i need to order the kit? also i noticed the lockout is wired a little different than the stock one is this normal cause its a newer trans than the stock one ,or is it wired different cause the trans came out of a suburban with tbi and im runnin tpi?should i swap the tcc solenoid ,wiring and pressure switches from my old trans and wire up the new lockout like my old one?i would really appreciate any kind of help ,i got alot of $ rapped up in this trans and i dont want mess it up ,so anybody who can help a transmission illiterate out please do,thanks in advance!

 

If you are talking about the TV plunger sleeve, then yes, you can. Do it carefully.
