4th gen pedals
OK. I am getting ready to get the t56 swap done in the IROC. But I am having a hard time finding a set of 4th gen v8 6 speed pedals for cheap. My question is. Are the 4th gen pedals out of a v6 with a 5 speed car the same as a v8 6 speed pedals? Because if so, I can find them in the junkyard for really cheap. Anyways, Thanks in advance for all the help! Adam :-)

Re: 4th gen pedals
Anyone? Found a 94 firebird v6 5-speed car in the junkyard today while looking around. Also found a 3rd gen with the 5-speed pedals. I'll probably just get them both. At least I heard that you can use the 3rd gen pedals with a little modifying. But I am very curious about the 4th gen 5-speed pedals. Adam :-)

check the dealer. you may be surprised at how cheap they are.
My friend paid $65 for a T56 set back in 2002 when he was building his LT1/T56 RS.

Re: 4th gen pedals
What difference does it make if you have different pedals? I can't see why t56 swap would require pedals from 4gen t56 car. I am in the process of converting my 89 camaro from auto to t5* manual and i did use 4gen pedal setup minus gas pedal. Gas pedal didn't fit so i cut it off and use original 3gen gas pedal. I hava 86 that is manual, allways has been, and it's brake/clutch pedal setup looks similar to 4gen pedal setup.
* I wanted to go with t56 but those are expensive and harder to find at this side of atlantic ocean. I can get 5 t5 transmissions at a cost of one t56. Plus t5 is lighter, which is good for a track day car
