9 bolt pros, does this look correct? (see images)
hey guys..
on my quest for replacement 9 bolt posi cones.. I found these on ebay. they appear to be the right ones, but before I bite the bullet and buy the wrong parts (again) I was hoping for some reassurance and confidence before buying.
whats your opinion? apparently for 28 spline, see images;

Yah, that's what they look like.
You're better off to machine your old ones down as opposed to installing new ones. Just grind that outside face until you get about 1mm of space from the carrier. New cones will not fit your carrier as well as your old ones. Right now they are already perfectly matched! An machine shop can turn them down. Just reshim them to suit when you put them back in. Do a search for 'rebuilding the 9 bolt' on google. There is a great article somewhere...
