THm 350 cable

Is the cable on a thm350 the same as a 700r4 were it being out of adjustment is a VERY bad thing?

Or am i thinking wrong here?(what does the cable do, and how can i set it up right)

Re: THm 350 cable

the 350 cable is similar to the 700 but you cannot leave it unplugged on the 700, you can on a 350. with it disconnected on a 350 you have to manually downshift for passing gear.

Re: THm 350 cable

The cable on a TH350 is only used for the kickdown, the adjustment of it is mostly a matter of individual preference.

Re: THm 350 cable

i spoke with transgo about this same issue a couple days ago. I was told cable needs to be hooked up to get the the "Detent" and governor tuning for full throttle will be effected otherwise.
leave it unhooked going with their full manual only kit only.

transmission in completely stock form i would not be able to say. as i did not ask that question.

Re: THm 350 cable

Shifting will certainly be affected without the cable, but it's not a fatal thing like it would be with a 700R4.
