I am looking into finding T-5 rebuild kits for my 90 T/A. All I am finding is rebuild kits for the 85-90 Mustangs. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have searched and seen that people have spent less than $200 on rebuild kits but I haven't seen where they got them from. My tranny sounds like it is about ready to crap out on me and I want to start researching for the inevitable.

 

It's the same thing.

Either it IS a 2nd design T-5, or it ISN'T. The bearings and stuff don't change acording to which sheet metal was wrapped around it.

Yes I've used "Mustang" ones to rebuild my own.
