Torque Arm

I have an 86 Iroc, I am putting in a Morrison 4 bar rear clip with a narrowed 9 inch, also using their weld in frame connectors. I am running a GM 572 crate motor with a procharger F2. With the full frame is it neccessary to still use the torque arm? and if so why
Thanks for the help

Re: Torque Arm

I'll bite, but this is all a bit odd.

If you run a 4 bar or link suspension you can't use a torque arm.

Re: Torque Arm

if you're going to install a 4-link "back-half", then that's all you will be using. The subframe connectors would be a moot point, as you need to look into fabricating framerails, or having it done.

You're looking at tackling a MAJOR alteration with what would seem to be little knowledge of what you are doing. - Do a search under "back-half" and look at Stephen's car domain page. There will be A LOT of custom fabrication required for what you are talking about

also, this really should be under the suspension forum.
