4.10 or 3.73?
4.10 or 3.73?
i have a 88 iroc camaro 305 tpi 5 speed which currently has 3.08 rear gears im looking for a small improvement in my 1/8th mile time im running a 9.32 right now and i want to get into the 8's this car is getting around 26mpg on the highway and i was also curious how the sawp would effect economy and information woudl be appreciated.

The 3.73 would give you better economy, but for the most part I would go with the 3.73

There is not much difference between both. But if this is also for the streets, the 3.73 would be much better. Definitely go for the 3.7's

I picked up 2 tenths in the quarter by going from a 3.73 to a 4.11. Dont know about mileage, its a drag car.

4.10 gears are too much for a stock TPI. Stick with 3.73's. Remember to change your speedo gears in the tranny. You need a 7 tooth drive and 21 tooth driven.
