The 3.73 would give you better economy, but for the most part I would go with the 3.73

so you would recommend the 3.73 over the 4.10 because of fuel economy but what difference would either one make in the 1/8th?

There is not much difference between both. But if this is also for the streets, the 3.73 would be much better. Definitely go for the 3.7's

I picked up 2 tenths in the quarter by going from a 3.73 to a 4.11. Dont know about mileage, its a drag car.

Re: 4.10 or 3.73?

4.10 gears are too much for a stock TPI. Stick with 3.73's. Remember to change your speedo gears in the tranny. You need a 7 tooth drive and 21 tooth driven.
