I have a 10 bolt from an 00' SS sitting in my backyard and I'd like to go through and freshen it up the best I can (bearings, seals, whatever) but I want to be able to just put it all back together. What can I remove without messing up the factory preloads/depths/etc?

Unless you know what you're doing and have the proper tools (bearing separator, press, torque wrench, dial guage, etc) you are better off only changing the oil and axle seals.
