Hey everyone, quick overview, last year I replaced my tranny fluid and pan gasket and filter. Its been fine, I havent driven the car yet. But recently, Im finding leaks in 2 spots, right in front of the pan, and one like 8 inches away from the pan towards the back. Any ideas? What else should I check? Here are some pics....

This is like 8 inches away from the pan on the back,


This is in front of the pan, maybe 2 inches away.


I dont really see any fluid dripping from the pan, but I noticed 2 bolts on the front werent fully tightenned, i may of missed them last time. Thanks in advance.

 

Front seal may be leaking for one of your problems.

 

maybe the front seal?? we just had to replace the seal in my brother's tranny recently, we thought it was the gasket on the pan but turned out that we weren't that lucky.

 

Ah thanks for the fast reply. Please tell me I can replace the front seal myself on jack stands.....For the back, i was thinking, maybe the speedo cable goes into?

 

Heres another picture. Should I try and remove the black cover to see if fluid comes out, to see if its coming from a bad seal?
