Broke it!
I broke the little black plastic thing at the end of the TV cable. Is there an easy way of fixing it? How much is a new cable? Currently the I can't shift when going over 3k rpms. The cable is off and I held it on with a clamp as a band aid. Please help!
Re: Broke it!
I have new universal cables for $20.00. I also have an extra off one I could send however it might not work cable might be to tight after you cut off the lead stopper and replace it with this set screw stopper. I am checking with my parts supplier on a repair end, waiting for his call back.
He just called back this is an end with a slit in it so you don't have to cut the cable it will slide right on. the cost hope your sitting down, is .50 cents. send me an eamil and I can get you one, don't worry about the 50 cents. Rob@g-mentransmissions.com

Re: Broke it!
PATC Raptor corp. sells a new plastic connector that you can install without cutting or replacing the cable for about $10. It looks just like the original, except it's two pieces that snap together so that you can put it on the old cable. They have an ebay store, so try looking on there. As commonly as those things break, it amazes me how hard it is to find anyone that offers a replacement connector. Don't drive it until you get that fixed. You'll burn up the clutch packs in very short order, and then be paying for a total trans rebuild.

I was bored, so I decided to figure out where I saw that repair deal. I'm glad I looked, because it wasn't PATC that sells it. Here's a link to it, and it only costs $3.50. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-FO...temZ8075009942
