OK,I have a 700r4 that came out of a 88 firebird.The speedo gears are red I believe the drive gear has 17 teeth.I have put this trans. in my 89 gta which has also been converted to the 90-92 style speed density TPI.I knew I had to replace the speed sensor in the trans. which I did,but I think I got the wrong one.Does anyone know right off hand which vss I need and if I need to change the speedo gears.The car has a 3;27 posi-disc rear.

ANYONE?I really want this car going soon.

go about 3/4 of the way down the page to #55 and #55xx.
#55 you want the 45 tooth one for your rear end and the drive gear you have in your tranny.
#55xx is the speed sensor you need for the 90-92 speed density set-up.
