anyone seen these gears before?

I thought the only gears we could get for the BW 9 bolts were strange gears, but I was looking around and found these.

http://www.jawsgear.com/store/catalo...oducts_id=1417

Anyone ever used these or heard of anyone using them?

By the way, is the Australian 9 bolt and the 9 bolt the same rearend?

Thanks.

Yes, aussie and normal 9 bolt are the same thing.
Notice that these are soft gears that WILL NOT last on the street.

I did not see where it said these are the soft gears. I noticed it said a lot about soft gears, but also talked about their other gears.

Sorry, you're right, I just skimmed over that page.
I would ask which one is the one in question there for $182...

Re: anyone seen these gears before?

I tried contacting them by phone, but they are on lunch break right now. I will get with them today, and report back. If these are street gears, I wonder why no one ever mentions them when all these questions are asked about gears for a 9 bolt. Someone has to know something we dont...

alright, I contaced a rep from the store and he said that the gears are for everyday street use. Seems like a good aternative so far from the $330 strange gears.

Re: anyone seen these gears before?

Kinda surprising. I used to throw away 9bolts because the gears were soo much money. Nice to see them becoming realistic.

Then I bought a car with gears twice as expencive as the 9bolt...

Re: anyone seen these gears before?

hehe... thats the reason I have never changed my gears. But the funny thing is that it says they have been in their catalog since 2005 or something like that. Im just surprised that no one else has mentioned this before.
