7.5" 10 bolt build up

Has anyone built up a 10 bolt? I am debating on going straight to a 9 inch but money is tight......

How much power are u planning on running?? If you dont think ull be in the 11s id say buildl the 10 bolt. if your gonna be running deep quarter times then id suggest switching too a 9inch or 12 bolt. Building a 10 bolt youll be good into the 12s and ive seen ppl run high 11s with them. Weld the axle tubes, TA gridle, 28 spline axles get some good ones good posi or locker and you should be good.

I have the axle tubes welded, a girdle cover, crush sleeve eliminator, bearing cap studs, LCARBs, Superior axles, and an Eaton "high perf" aftermarket posi in mine. Can't think of much else that can be done.

Shop around and you can build the 10 bolt pretty cheep.
I rebuilt mine.

New in the box Eaton posi # 19599-1, Ebay, for less than half the cost.
Motive gears new in the box, Shopped around $80
Superior axles new from summit.
Girdle cover and stud kit.
Solid bearing spacer
welded axles tubes
rebuild kit
And a few other little things, Have around $700 in the whole thing.Putting 400 rwhp and havent had a problem.
But I also dont plan on putting much more to the rear wheels,The car is still very streetable, and I like it the way I can go to the track or drive it on the street daily.
