I have a 1986 camaro sports coupe and i need to get a new differntial, the standard open diff is killing me. i was thinking about a spool because it is cheap and easy, but ive heard the can break axels. does anyone now whare or how i could get a lsd or spool for the 7.5 or 7.625 rear ends?

Re: witch differential?
I recently bought the Detroit true trac off summit for $375. Hard to find on their website though.
A full $100 cheaper than any other diff basically. Comparable in design to the torsion ones put in 4th gens, but stronger.
Might be worth looking in to.
