TKO 600 driveshaft
does anyone sell a driveshaft compatible with the TKO 600 yet?
does the TKO 600 share a driveshaft with any of the sizes listed on the spohn site?
and lastly, does anyone know the exact size of the driveshaft id need?

Re: TKO 600 driveshaft
Your stock length driveshaft works just fine with the TKO. The only thing you need is the proper slip yoke to go in the back of the trans (Ford C6 style-31 spline), and a conversion u-joint that has 1310 (stock thirdgen) spacing on one cross of it, and 1330 (Ford C6) spacing on the other cross. If you bought the TKO new, it should've come with the slip yoke. If you wanted to spend the money for a Spohn driveshaft, you could have them fab one up for you that's stock thirdgen length with 1330 ears on the trans end, and regular 1310 on the end that attaches to the pinion yoke. That would be the more expensive way, but you'd have a heavy duty driveshaft and be able to use a standard 1330 u-joint. If you're on a budget, just get the C6 slip yoke, if you don't have it already, and buy a 1310/1330 conversion u-joint.

Re: TKO 600 driveshaft
My tko came with an adapter plate that goes on the bell houseing and turns the trans strait instead of it sitting at an angle(like your stock t-5) That adapter added 1 inch to my overall length. When i had the ford slip yoke installed (which came with my tko) on the stock driveshaft they also cut it down 1 inch and rebalanced. My total bill was $130

Re: TKO 600 driveshaft
Hmmm...I went from a stock t-5 to a tko and my driveshaft would not go in. I was so embarrased when i went back to the hydralics shop to have it shortened that i didn't measure the first time. But i took an inch off and it fits perfectly. I don't know where the difference is. Noroxus, maybe you should leave this detail for last and measure for yourself once the set up is installed.
Re: TKO 600 driveshaft
You can generally slip it right in place because the stock slip yoke usually doesn't go all the way in to the back of the trans. My stock yoke has almost 2 inches of slack left in it before it's flush with the rear of the trans, so most times an extra inch in length doesn't matter. This tolerance differs between cars, so there is the rare ones that'll need to be shortened up a bit.
